Widsurfing and Sailing

The particular intensity of the wind currents that blow regularly and constantly from the north and south in the northern basin of the lake favour sailing sports; surf-boards, catamarans, boats of every category and size find the vast sailing races an ideal "gym" to train in, even during the winter months, favoured by the mild climate.

There are also many sports events and sailing regattas, even of an international nature, organised by the local sailing club "fraglia della vela" which hosts 'team' participation and world famous champions.
